چکیده
Precise definitions of “weak [quantum] measurements” and “weak value” [of a quantum observable] are offered, which seem to capture the meaning of the often vague ways that these terms are used in the literature. Simple finite dimensional examples are given showing that weak values are not unique. They therefore cannot correspond to any physical attribute of the system being “weakly” measured, contrary to impressions given by most of the literature on weak measurements.

A precise definition of “weak [quantum] measurements” and “weak value” (of a quantum observable) is offered, and simple finite dimensional examples are given showing that weak values are not unique and therefore probably do not correspond to any physical attribute of the system being “weakly” measured, contrary to impressions given by most of the literature on weak measurements. A possible math...

We show that spatially separated parties who perform local measurements on a maximallyentangled state using randomly chosen measurement bases can, with significant probability, generate nonclassical correlations that violate a Bell inequality. For n parties using a Greenberger-HorneZeilinger state, this probability of violating a Bell inequality asymptotically tends to unity as the number of pa...

The entanglement of graph states up to eight qubits is calculated in the regime of iteration calculation. The entanglement measures could be the relative entropy of entanglement, the logarithmic robustness or the geometric measure. All 146 local inequivalent graphs are classified as three categories: the 2-colorable graphs, the non 2colorable graphs with identical upper LOCC entanglement bound ...
